BRUSH supplied a BRUSH 4 pole 32 MW Generator for the Four Ashes Energy Recovery Facility in Staffordshire, England.
The facility able to divert 300,000 tonnes of waste from landfill will generate 22MW of electricity to power 30,000 homes. This waste to energy facility is vital to meet landfill diversion targets and reduce carbon emissions for the UK.
The unit, a BRUSH DG215ZC, with a voltage of 11000V and 50 Hz of frequency can achieve up to 38.8 MW of active power, high enough to cope with future increment power needs for the plant, presenting also the following characteristics;
|DG215ZC||38.8 MW||11,000V||2037A||TEWAC / CACW||Brushless|
Over the last decade, BRUSH has successfully commissioned more than 600 units 4 pole generators across the globe, with an average of 100,000 running hours between major checks. In fact, more than 40% of sets installed in the last 10 years world-wide have used BRUSH.
With Products ranging from 10-50MW, BRUSH synchronous 4 pole generators for steam applications are tailor-made to meet specific customer needs, application demands and grid characteristics allowing us to be the world’s leading independent supplier of turbine driven generators
